Tornado!!!Yesterday I went to get some dinner somewhere here in Columbia, MD. I looked to my left and saw this.

You don't see that everyday.

I keep forgetting that my office building is right next to the National Mall. On my way home today, I stopped in the National Gallery of Art. I enjoyed that.

I hate people at work who look at my skateboard strapped to my backpack and ask if I skateboard.

Then again, I've always hated people I've worked with.

I can count on one hand, minus two fingers, the number of co-workers that made the jump to friend. And one of them is dead.

In all my years I've grown suspicious of anyone I meet. I've met my friend quota, so I'm free to be an ass. My friends from Maine are all I've got really, and I barely talk to them.

Which leaves me here in a warm computer room on the other side of a cold music studio. My production from both being meager and staggered. My desire to take off and wander dampened by responsibility. And lack of like souls within sight keeps me further boxed.

Oh, and my vehicle needs a state inspection. Dammit.

Watch this video of Alberto Gonzales' "testimony" to the Judiciary Committee and tell me you still think the Bush administration still has ANY honor left:

Specifically, at 2:00:44 into the video, when Senator Schumer begins his verbal beat-down on this lying embarrassment to mankind.

On a lighter note, cheap summertime parking is now available near my office in SW DC!!
