This morning I was trapped on the subway from hell. I guess because the red line train hopped off the tracks or fell down a sinkhole they needed to stop all trains trailing the problem train for over an hour between two stops, underground, and my car was full of hygenically challenged commuters. I should have drove. Funny thing was, NOBODY was on the highway today - nor at work. I would have thought it to be a holiday except for the fact that Dave The Ethically Challenged Programmer was emailing me from his job in Maine.

The ride home was interesting as well. On the bus (my commute = 15 min. bus / 50 min. subway) it was obviously going to be a full ride. So of course this prick gets on, sits down, and once his tiny brain discovers this fact he leans back, puts his bag in the seat to his right and stretches his arms across the backs of both seats beside him. Smug bastard. BUT - the karma had just begun. The two FATTEST NASTIEST women sat on either side, squishing him like a goateed zit. It was so beautiful. Sometimes things just equal out.

I haven't been real clear about it with people but my heart has been bothering me again. Quite often. Sometimes it feels as though it is confused and forgot how to beat. I visited a new doctor last week. After lots of research I settled on who I now believe is the best electrophysiologist on the mid-atlantic. He is also a member of the White House Medical Staff, which is pretty cool. He noticed some things, has some ideas, but isn't totally sure yet. We are doing some test, but it looks like the pacemaker is getting some use afterall. It's been on active duty lately, and it's a feeling I thought would never return. I'll be ok. Just more inconvenience.

I'm going to Memphis, TN for a work assignment tomorrow through Thursday. Should be fun. I haven't been able to play any music for a while, that makes me icky. I miss making music. I need a creative outlet. I need to do something.
