I drove up to Maine last month to give my dad my VW Passat that is no longer needed (long story). The car he has now is not as winter friendly as I'd like, so hopefully this will give him a little better traction. In return, I'm donating his old Chevy Lumina to charity - but first I had to drive it back home to Maryland. Let's just say the car has a great, fast engine, but doesn't exactly stop on a dime. The whole drive back down I-95 it was pouring rain, and I ended up winning some road rage battles with a couple 18 wheel semi-tractors. It was a fun challenge.

I'm sad I won't get to spend much time up there for a while. My new job (back in the civil service, DoD stuff now) will be very demanding for the immediate future. Hopefully I can bank some time and visit for a more lengthy period in the spring.

Oh yeah, there is now a Little Caesars Pizza at the Topsham Fair Mall!!! Damn, I love that place.
