Here is an interesting situation. When I got married last year the Mrs. was quite settled on the idea of living in some suburban location in Marlyand, at least close to DC so my commute wouldn't be horrible. She was afraid of DC because where I lived was a "sketchy" part of southwest and she did not want to live there. I liked it. All my life in spent in Maine has taught me that my only happy places would be either swinging in a hammock on the coast of Maine or Nova Scotia (err, Iceland or Scotland if possible) or in a city like DC or NYC. Blah blah blah. Long story short - crime is worse here in scenic spy capitol USA, Columbia, MD, than where I lived in DC.
Half joking I left my bike outside hoping it would get stolen. Hey, I need a new one, and my skateboard works for short trips. I noticed it was missing today while taking the trash out. A couple months ago someone turned my Jeep's antenna into voltage diagram. Cheech and Chong live two houses down the street, and Snoop Dogg stays there sometimes. I heard gunfire last night. GUNFIRE! People don't hunt here. At least not for animals. My neighbor's car, the Jaguar Valdez, has turned my parking spot into a Jiffy Lube. Wah wah wah, I know. I'm just saying, it don't matter where you live. Someone is going to try and kill you at some point.
On a brighter note, the Hooters waitress gave me her wristband on Thursday when me and a couple co-workers went there for lunch. I thought that was nice. The folks over at WAL-MART: The High Cost of Low Price gave me a shout out on their site. Watch that movie when it hits. And I want the Electrix Repeater but can't find it anywhere.

I got a new job - and it has nothing to do with the government (well, not directly... err, ok maybe a little). That's right. Back to corporate America with me. Although I'll still be consulting for a few select agencies, my day job will be here in Columbia, MD, at a great company down the road. I am now a senior security engineer at blah blah I don't like to drop names. If you know me, you'll know.
We have kittens!! Shayne's friend's cat had a bunch of babies and we nabbed two. Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline. Animals everywhere!!
